Housekeeping will provide and maintain a clean, organized, sanitary environment for campers, visitors, and staff to work and live in during their time at Army Lake Camp.

About the role:

• 
  
• Performs housekeeping duties throughout multiple camp facilities including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, making beds, dusting, and cleaning and restocking bathrooms and showers.
  
• Strips and waxes VCT flooring.
  
• Cleans, treats and maintains wood flooring.
  
• Shampoos carpets and upholstery.
  
• Launders sheets, blankets and other bedding.
  
• Inspects for and reports on maintenance needs and issues throughout facilities.
  
• Performs minor repairs as appropriate and directed.
  
• Performs deep cleaning of kitchens, storage facilities, equipment, furnishings, and bathrooms during off season.
  
• Tracks, regulates and orders stock of cleaning supplies.
  
• Interacts with and works alongside other camp staff. Frequently interacts with guests, officers, and campers.
  
  Experience: Two years' experience in custodial and/or housekeeping role, preferably in a hospitality context.
