Mount Marty University is accepting applications for Director of the DNAP program. This dynamic applicant will have oversight of the DNAP curricular programming, supervision of faculty and staff and assure compliance with regulatory bodies. Internal and External candidates are welcome to apply.Minimum Qualifications:

• Earned terminal degree
• 5 years CRNA clinical experience
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current recertification by the NBCRNA and unencumbered license to practice as a CRNA in South Dakota.
• Prior experience in teaching (clinical or didactic) and a record of relevant research and scholarship.
• Prior administrative or managerial experience in the clinical or educational arena.Required Characteristics:

  • Develops and implements long term vision and goals in alignment with the institutions' strategic plan
  • Strengthens the program to support personal and professional growth of students and faculty
  • An ability to focus on the future of nurse anesthesia practice and accreditation standards and willingness to generate reports as required to meet institutional and regulatory standardsThe DNAP program within Mount Marty University, located at our Sioux Falls campus in Sioux Falls, SD, is based on a nursing and science background involving an in-depth application of these sciences to the art of anesthesia.
