Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Employee
Experience Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible
for managing day-to-day employee relations, ensuring a positive
work environment, administering employee engagement surveys,
conducting employee terminations when necessary, and providing
training on best practices for employee matters. The ideal
candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills,
conflict resolution expertise, and a passion for creating a
high-performance workplace culture.Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee
relations matters, addressing employee concerns and resolving
workplace conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on handling
employee issues, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and
best practices in mitigating risk and handling sensitive employee
matters.
- Investigate employee complaints and allegations of workplace
misconduct, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company
policies.
- Stay current on labor laws, industry trends, and best practices
related to employee relations.
- Terminations & Disciplinary Actions
- Lead the process of employee terminations, ensuring compliance
with legal requirements and company policies. Conduct terminations
in a fair and respectful manner, while maintaining a professional
and compassionate approach.
- Work closely with the HR team and management to ensure that
proper documentation is maintained for all disciplinary
actions.
- Training & Development
- Develop and implement training programs on employee relations
best practices, focusing on conflict resolution, communication
skills, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Train managers and team leaders on how to effectively handle
employee concerns, performance management, and legal requirements
related to employee relations.
- Conduct regular workshops and seminars to ensure employees are
informed of company policies, labor laws, and ethical
standards.
- Employee Engagement & Retention
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and provide actionable
insights to leadership based on feedback.
- Assist in developing and administering employee recognition and
reward programs to improve morale and retention.Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality
Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or Employee
Relations, with at least 2 years in a role focused on employee
relations.
- Proven experience conducting investigations and managing
disciplinary actions or terminations.
- Experience with conflict resolution, performance management,
and legal compliance related to employee matters.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability
to effectively manage relationships at all levels of the
organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive
employee issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the
ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry operations and the unique
employee challenges within the sector.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Physical
Demands & Work Environment
- This position may require occasional travel to various
properties or locations within the organization.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality
environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends,
depending on business needs.
