What the day will look like
As a Senior Proposal Manager, you will report directly to the
Commercial Risk Manager. The Senior Proposal Manager will work on
bids for our Aon Commercial Risk Solutions business units. You will
write, revise, proofread, and finalize proposals in response to
RFPs (requests for proposals) and presentations specific to client
situations. The bids will focus on our risk and construction lines
of business.
The Senior Proposal Manager will lead, plan, develop, produce, and
deliver proposals and presentations required by client
solicitations. You will provide hands-on management of the entire
full-cycle project development processes, including but not limited
to: leading kick-off meetings, assist in the development of
strategy, writing customized content, monitoring timelines, editing
documents, working on presentation deliverables, and ensuring
compliance with the Aon brand.
The Senior Proposal Manager will work with colleagues across Aon
Commercial Risk Solutions, as well as product and industry practice
sales teams, subject matter experts, and designers, to ensure that
proposals and presentations are compliant with client bid
requirements and reflect the best technical, management, and
support offerings that Aon can make in response to RFPs.
The Senior Proposal Manager is expected to assist in achieving
national goals for new business and client retention via execution
of the core responsibilities of the position, which focus on
responding to offensive (new business) and defensive
(retention/jeopardy) requests for proposal (RFPs) and
presentations.

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants)
is $95,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based
on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary
may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual
incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in
addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is
subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive
plan.
