friendly and professional Sales Manager to join the team!
We are looking for someone that is focused, customer-service and
solution oriented, and passionate for hospitality sales. If you

You'll DoAs a Sales Manager, you will:
- Identify, prospect, and solicit new/repeat business through
email, personal calls, outside sales calls, cold calls, networking
events, inquiries via email/phone, in person interactions, and
other assigned methods. Qualify needs and interests while analyzing
the future potential to book. Identify and prioritize target
clients/markets/planners and schedules presentations for potential
customers.
- Establish, maintain, and develop business, social and civic
relationships with customers and potential customers in the
assigned markets to enhance potential for meeting objectives of
maximum profitability and growth through effective sales and
service.
- Negotiate group business, catering business, guestroom rates,
hotel services, and meeting room rentals that meets or exceeds the
planned budgeted goals. Prepare price quotations, terms of sales,
service dates, estimates of charges, and other documentation as
appropriate.
- Sell products and services by interacting with established
customers and developing new prospects. Assist prospective
customers to select services and/or options that best suit their
needs.
- Attend community, local, state, regional, and/or national
events to promote Sentry Services facilities, make contacts, and
identify/develop potential sales opportunities. Maintain contacts
with variety of individuals and group representatives to keep
informed of possible future sales opportunities.
- Employ value selling techniques and communicates with open
dialogue and a customer centric approach at all times to ensure
that the customers' needs are communicated and executed to maximize
the service standards expected and drive customer loyalty.
- Track and document all sales activities in sales/catering
platform including, but not limited to sales calls, inquiries,
bookings, and lost business to monitoring productivity.Other
responsibilities include:
- Provides management with written and oral reports on customer
needs, problems, interests, market situations, competitive
activities, and potential for new products/services. Prepares and
submits periodic reports on activities, sales volume, expenses,
etc. Provides information for sales forecasts.
- Works closely with SentryWorld, Sentry Services, and Sentry
Insurance personnel as appropriate to ensure achievement of sales
and marketing objectives. Assists in the development of promotional
packages, joint marketing initiatives, and other sales tools.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned from time to
time.What it Takes
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Proven successful selling and negotiating skills, including
prospecting required
- Effectively organize and present information and respond to
questions from customers and prospects.
- Ability to interpret and define customer needs and develop
traditional as well as innovative proposals to meet those
needs.
- Effectively and successfully close sales opportunities and
facilitate the delivery of contracted services/products.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles.
- Adaptability; able to pivot with the needs of the organization
