Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Chastain & Associates LLC (Chastain) has an exciting opportunity
for a Civil Engineer - Transportation Project Manager working with
public or private infrastructure projects. Qualified candidates
will work in a collaborative environment with our team and
alongside clients from private to municipal, state, and federal
jurisdictions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Civil Engineering infrastructure planning, design,
and/or construction
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Illinois.
Experience managing, leading, and mentoring colleagues
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage street, site, highway, and bridge projects, including
federal, state, and locally funded infrastructure.
Oversee geometric, traffic, drainage, and site development
projects.
Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications while providing
coordination, direction, and quality control/quality assurance.
Manage subconsultants, direct field operations for surveys,
studies, construction observation, and project documentation.
Manage contracts, budgets, and schedules.
Identify opportunities, work with a team to prepare and submit
proposals, statements of interest, and statements of
qualifications.
Manage and maintain client relationships, interact with agencies
and professional organizations, and cultivate business and
professional connections.
Manage, maintain, and grow a team of technical staff
