  • Job Details
  • TIER 1 and TIER 2 (off-shift/cardiac) Surgical Tech CVOR Traveler
  • The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery, promotes the safety of the patient during surgery, provides assistance to the surgeon during surgery, cares for the patient during surgery and cares for the instruments and supplies used in surgery.
  • The incumbent possesses knowledge and skills required to assist in effectively caring for patients of all age groups (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
    • Looking for strong cardiovascular, endovascular and peripheral vascular experience.
    • Skills checklist must include cardiovascular, endovascular ratings and peripheral vascular ratings - we will only consider 4's for these skills for this job.
    • Transplant experience also required.
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 hours, Monday - Friday Variation 6:30am-7pm or 10:40am-11pm
      • Weekend call every 5th weekend
      • Weekday call week or biweekly
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
