Job Description:
Responsible for scheduling, preparing and maintaining all
shipping related documentation to support timely customer
deliveries.Customer service resolution and supervising shipping
staff when required. Obtain competitive freight quotes, minimize
freight cost through efficient scheduling. Communicate advance
shipping notifications to customers. Track goods at every stage,
settle claims, coordinate int'l shipments, generate bill of ladings
etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excellent typing/data entry
skills, accuracy and attention to detail, adapt to changing
procedures, policies and work environment, work in a fast paced
team environment, communicate effectively and follow written and
verbal instructions. Associates degree or equivalent with min. of 2
years in a shipping department.
