Job SummaryAdvocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Elm Grove, Wisconsin.Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, and c-arm procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
• Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, providing patient safety and radiation protection.
• Identify patients, label images, and process images to ensure accuracy and quality, calling back patients as necessary.
• Assist and communicate with physicians, working independently outside the department with providers.
• Prepare and maintain records, entering patient and study information into the radiology information system, and documenting billing codes for procedures performed.
• Serve as a technical resource, role model, and/or preceptor for students and staff, acting as a resource to staff at own facility and throughout the system.
• Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, requiring lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.Benefits
