About Us:Ramen-san River North is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant that serves hot broth, ice-cold beer, and the best '90s hip-hop in town.We're open for lunch, dinner, and late-night dining seven days a week at multiple locations.Job Overview:We're seeking a skilled Sous Chef with 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant. As a Sous Chef, you'll lead the kitchen staff and oversee food preparation, inventory, and quality control.Responsibilities:

  • Run BOH shifts and ensure effective operations, including food prep, cooking, and inventory management.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, perform line checks, and taste food to ensure quality.
  • Partner with GM to review and maintain recipe books.
  • Purchase and order food products and supplies.
  • Assist with tracking and controlling food costs.
  • Ensure effective communication between FOH and BOH teams.
  • Supervise and develop BOH employees.
  • Model teamwork and use good judgment when dealing with challenges.Qualifications:
    • 2-3 years of sous chef experience in a full-service restaurant.
    • Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff.Benefits:
