Job Description:
Lead the opening shift process at Ema, a Mediterranean
restaurant in Chicago's River North. We are looking for a Chef de
Cuisine with 2 years of experience. Key responsibilities include
leading the kitchen team, managing inventory, tracking food costs,
and maintaining recipe books.

Responsibilities:
--- Lead the opening shift process, including food orders,
inventory, and price updates.
--- Manage the kitchen team, ensuring effective and efficient
operations.
--- Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management
teams.
--- Track and control food cost, and purchase and order food
products and supplies.
--- Partner with the General Manager to create prep lists and
assign production duties.
--- Perform regular line checks to ensure quality of all menu
items.
--- Maintain recipe books and ensure effective communication
between front and back of house.
Qualifications:
--- 4+ years of Chef de Cuisine experience in a full-service
restaurant.
--- Ability to lead and develop teams.
--- Skilled in managing BOH systems.
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year.
