Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Collector (Fully Remote) to
manage the follow-up and collection of outstanding patient
accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively follow up on assigned patient accounts for timely
collection of outstanding balances
Communicate with patients, insurance providers, and government
payors to resolve billing discrepancies
Manage appeals and denials to maximize collections
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing or
collections
At least 2 years of experience handling appeals
Proficient in using EMR or Practice Management Software
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Strong negotiation skills
