patient care services across multiple modalities within Imaging.Job
Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and leads the implementation of policies, procedures
and initiatives for imaging services.
- Monitors plans for patient care and assesses quality of patient
care. Coordinates services with patients, staff, physicians, and
other departments.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff
satisfaction, and conflict management. Oversees scheduling,
recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Oversees the monitoring of departmental budgets, regulatory
compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Ensures on-going compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Maintains established productivity standards and supply expense
metrics. Accountable for monthly reporting departmental variances,
budget, FTE and expense variances with associated action plan.
- May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing
levels require.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
- Completion of Radiology ProgramEXPERIENCE
- Five years' experience, with two years' in leadership
- CT and Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
- Managerial experience preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near
(20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through
oral communication.
- Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear
alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing
0-25 lbs.
- Frequent lifting/moving of patients.
- Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects
weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish
colors.
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting and
repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
