Vice President, Data Science & AI - MicrosoftChicagoAt Valtech
(legacy Kin + Carta), we are seeking a visionary Vice President,
Data Science & AI as a leader within Data & AI, with deep expertise
in Microsoft Azure and Databricks. This executive will be pivotal
in driving AI-powered solutions for our clients, fostering
innovation, and advancing our mission to deliver exceptional value
while playing a critical role in sales enablement and business
growth.Travel Requirement: This position requires up to 50%
travel.Role Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the vision for Valtech's data science and
AI capabilities.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, AI
engineers, and analysts.
- Drive alignment between AI initiatives and the organization's
broader business goals.
- Client Engagement:
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, identifying
opportunities for AI and data-driven transformation.
- Collaborate with client teams to design and deliver tailored AI
and data science solutions.
- Represent Valtech as a thought leader in the AI and data
science community.
- Sales Enablement and Growth:
- Partner with sales teams to develop strategies for leveraging
data science and AI in client proposals.
- Craft compelling narratives and business cases for AI
solutions.
- Be a key leader in client presentations and pitches as the data
science and AI subject matter expert.
- Identify new revenue streams and opportunities for expanding
Valtech's AI offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create thought leadership
content.
- Develop partner relationships within Microsoft and
Databricks.
- Technical Expertise:
- Lead the development and deployment of scalable AI models and
machine learning solutions using Microsoft Azure and
Databricks.
- Oversee the architecture of data pipelines and platforms.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and
cloud technologies.Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years in data science and AI leadership roles.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
- Demonstrated experience supporting sales pursuits and driving
revenue growth through AI solutions.
- Familiarity with software development best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence
stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a
related field.The BenefitsThis is a full-time salaried position in
the United States. The salary range offered for this position is
$275-375K annually, depending on experience.We pride ourselves on
