DescriptionThe Technology Consulting Enterprise Asset Management
Service Offering Leader role within 1898 & Co., a part of Burns &
McDonnell, will partner with our customers in the Electric Utility
space to understand their critical business challenges and
implement technology-focused solutions that build a brighter
future. The selected candidate will join the Enterprise System &
Integration team, which is focused on providing grid modernization
solution services delivering high value to our clients through a
variety of leading technologies and solutions. Enterprise Asset
Management Service Offering Lead will provide professional
consulting services focusing on IBM Maximo EAM and APM solutions.
This role will be highly engaged with driving targeted
conversations around industry challenges, understanding our
customers' needs, and finding solutions to empower organizations to
drive their business to more efficient operations. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate how our technology solutions address
customer pain points, capture critical win components from the
customer, and drive the development of a winning proposal. The
candidate will also demonstrate the knowledge and ability to
deliver proposed solutions through their understanding of the
implementation life cycle.This role requires a deep understanding
of our capabilities, enterprise asset management and the ability to
effectively communicate with customers in the Electric Utility
space. This role will be responsible for communicating how our
existing offerings help the Utility meet its business objectives
and providing consulting services related to technology solutions.
They will build relationships throughout the customer organization
to leverage opportunities to capitalize on technology investments.
They will be comfortable discussing the current state and leading
teams to move customers to their desired future state. They will
lead teams and oversee the work of conducting complicated
technology systems integrations while partnering with sales and
marketing groups to continue to build the business footprint.
- Define the service strategy that delivers value in the market
and grows services delivered, and increases market awareness of the
service and 1898 & Co. Current focus is on utilities with future
growth into other industries. Present and position service
offerings internally and externally.
- Lead client discussion detailing knowledge on EAM and APM
business value and functional application.
- Apply industry experience and leading practices to architect,
design, develop and implement grid operations solutions to support
complex business requirements.
- Lead program estimating, planning, and budgeting efforts and be
accountable for the program/project delivery execution.
- Develop organizational relationships to enable others to
identify opportunities and leverage organizational capabilities
needed in project delivery.
- Lead the creation of key client proposals.
- Work with technical teams to develop and define the project
scope and technology to ensure successful project solutions are
delivered.
- Provide technical and industry expertise to evaluate the market
and competitive landscape.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and works with business
development and sales functions.
- Work with team to project resource requirements and
growth.
- Lead presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners,
and the organization.
- Develop and implement sales tools and collateral.
- Develop and present sales briefings and training programs.
- Present at industry conferences and enable others.
- Participate in sales and marketing efforts for critical
pursuits.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the team,
department, and practice.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff.
- Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
- Responsible for effective communication with other
disciplines.
- Responsible for compliance with company and site safety
policies.
- All other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science,
Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field from an
accredited program. Applicable years of experience may be
substituted for degree requirement.
- 13 years of relevant experience (5 or more years identifying
and implementing solutions for broad technology systems is
preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise technology
projects, preferably in a consulting capacity within the electric
utility industry is preferred.
- Understanding of Enterprise Asset Management and Asset
Performance Management application usage in North American
utilities is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of operations processes and
technologies within the electric utility industry is
preferred.
- Excellent business acumen with proven success managing
consulting engagements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly and
efficiently interpret large data sets.
- Experience with integrating Enterprise Asset Management systems
with interfacing applications and functions is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions that lead to
results with business impacts.
- Proven experience leading and completing projects from business
proposal through post-production support preferred.
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information and convey
business and technical concepts to a diverse client base and
internal technical teams.
- Broad knowledge of project management methodologies and
tools.
- Ability to develop key service offerings, from concept to
deployment, that align to industry specific needs.
- Ability to uncover customer needs, develop recommendations and
persuasively deliver them is preferred.
- Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and
problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication
skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and
effectively present complex information to all levels of employees,
management, and clients.
- Product Management Experience is
preferred.Compensation$230,000.00-385,000.00 AnnuallyThe expected
compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance
with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range
for this position is based on a number of factors, including but
not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work
experience and work location. The total annual compensation package
will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our
