This role will focus on developing and managing cutting-edge digital products and enhancing GECU's Online Banking and Mobile App platforms to boost member engagement, adoption, and satisfaction, all while aligning with business objectives and fostering a strong digital culture.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of GECU's consumer and business Online Banking and mobile app platforms, and all related services; while having an understanding and knowledge of other digital services, such as: payment systems (digital wallets and Zelle), online account opening, remote deposit capture services, and more.
  • Create and manage a strategic roadmap for digital financial products, prioritizing features and updates based on user and member feedback, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, providing guidance, and offering support to internal team members and members, when applicable.
  • Work closely with vendors, engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and other teams to deliver integrated digital financial solutions that meet user and business needs.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of risk assessments, user control audits and documentation, business impact and continuity plans, and vendor management for all relevant digital services.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and effectively manage renewals to ensure adequate service levels and cost measures are intact.
  • Ensure Credit Union and all Digital Services policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Drive adoption and product/service usage by understanding benchmarks, current usage, performance metrics, and will provide ongoing monitoring of analytics through monthly reporting.
  • Build business case recommendations and strategies/plans for increasing penetration, overall usage, and ultimately revenue.
  • Understand the strategic direction and goals of the Credit Union and can turn those goals into action items.
  • Present recommendations for new technological advances and services to GECU's Online Banking and mobile app channels, and in other digital channels.
  • Grow and foster Product Ownership structure for digital solutions to influence culture and business outcomes.
  • Prioritize and maintain product backlogs.
  • Stay up to date on the latest financial technology trends, regulatory changes, emerging digital offerings, and vendor solutions.
  • Propose, prioritize, and implement innovative approaches to enhance GECU's financial digital products and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Use financial analytics tools to track user behavior, product performance, and market dynamics and leverage insights to drive product improvements and strategic direction.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce pain points and improve and enhance member's experiences across digital channels.
  • Responsible for assessing emerging trends, technologies, electronic platforms and potential partnerships that allow us to deliver innovative experiences and that simplify customer experience.Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum 7 years' experience with online and mobile system platforms, or related field.
    • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
    • Previous experience within the financial industry, banking processes and operations preferred.
    • Experience with Fiserv DNA core processing systems, NCR Digital Insights, and Meridian Link is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
      • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of compliance, disclosures, and terminology related to banking laws and regulations.
      • Strong technical and computer skills, with an ability to learn financial support software systems.
      • Exhibits professional and effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
      • Deep understanding of digital trends, user experience best practices, and digital marketing strategies.
      • Ability to maintain an empathetic stance toward the pain points of the members and work to improve the member experience.
      • Excellent organizational and project management skills and is not afraid to take control of projects, ask questions, or provide suggestions to improve processes and workflows.
      • Ability to effectively lead, manage, motivate, and develop a team.
      • Ability to take initiative and drive innovation, adoption, and usage of all digital channels.
      • Strong blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and user-focused design.
      • Previous success in launching and optimizing digital financial products.
      • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a digital or tech-driven environment.
      • Proven experience in managing digital products, with a strong focus on digital platforms, apps, or web technologies.Benefits:
