Job Description:
A company is looking for a State and Local Policy Manager to
support public policy initiatives at the state level.
Key Responsibilities
Support State and Local Public Policy by coordinating
cross-functional groups and developing strategies
Foster political relationships at the state and local levels and
manage consultants
Build a network of users for coordinated advocacy on key policy
issues
Required Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in public policy, particularly with state
legislative and regulatory issues
Strong political connections in key markets such as California,
Washington, or New York
Experience advocating in front of legislators, regulators, and
governors
Proven ability in coalition building and managing state
consultants
Willingness to travel regularly (40%-50%)
