Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Quality Manager - AS9110 position with a company that provides the military aerospace market with only the quality parts and supply management services.

Position Details
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Compensation: $85K - $95K plus bonus
Shift: M-F 8A - 5P (some variation)
Travel: 10% travel (training, trade shows, client needs, etc.)

Position Description
As a Quality Manager - AS9110, you will ensure conformance to AS9110 requirements and standards and actively participate in maintaining the Quality Manuals and all associated documents. You will work with the Director of Quality, Operations, Internal Auditing Teams, and Corrective Action programs for quality systems. You will also train personnel on quality standards and requirements, support customer returns and vendor claims, work with receiving and shipping inspection and quality control functions as needed. You will be responsible for identifying discrepant parts, generating non-conformance reports, initiating corrective actions, and participating in vendor approval process. You will be expected to maintain the required publications, ensuring they are current. You will also monitor shelf life and life limited products to help ensure they are properly documented and stored, monitor scrap program and ensure scrap documentation is properly maintained, and maintain company records as required. Additional duties may be assigned in application to maintaining the Quality System.

Position Requirements
--- 5+ years of applicable experience or/and a related degree.
--- Proficient in aircraft drawings and technical data.
--- Experience with ISO 9001:2015, familiarity with AS 9110 strongly preferred.
--- Experience in/knowledge of government purchasing systems/processes is ideal.
--- Experience in/knowledge of Foreign Object Damage inspection procedures is ideal.
--- Experience in/knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge Handling Procedures is ideal.
