Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee, WI.Join our forward-thinking team as a Machine Learning Engineer, where you will use your expertise in mechanical engineering or physics to develop intelligent systems that mimic the real world. Armed with strong Python programming skills and AWS experience, you'll craft machine learning solutions that transform our understanding and interactions with machinery and physical processes.Essential functions:

• Model Development and Implementation: Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models. Test models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Implement models in production environments, ensuring they perform optimally under various conditions.
• Data Management: Work with cross-functional teams to establish data collection and preprocessing frameworks that support effective machine learning operations.
• Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Explore new methods and technologies that can enhance the functionality and efficiency of our systems.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Apply your mechanical engineering or physics knowledge to tackle complex challenges through advanced machine learning techniques, improving system performance and decision-making capabilities.
• Collaboration: Engage with engineers, developers, and business units to integrate machine learning solutions into broader systems and processes.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor, adjust, and refine machine learning models to better replicate and predict physical phenomena, achieving superior business outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of the development process, model functionalities, and deployment methods.Basic Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.Experience: At least 2+ years of relevant experience in machine learning, ideally with a solid grounding in mechanical engineering or physics.Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS for deploying and managing machine learning workloads.
  • A robust understanding of mechanical engineering or physics principles, capable of translating physical behaviors into digital models.Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
    • Strong communication abilities, able to articulate complex solutions to a non-technical audience.
