Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Engineer responsible for
developing profiles of land properties using satellite imagery and
open-source tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop distinct profiles for millions of acres of land using
remote satellite imagery
Identify appropriate programs for landowners to generate new
revenue streams
Collaborate with various teams to apply data engineering expertise
across the organization
Required Qualifications
Proficient in Python and familiar with frameworks such as FastAPI
and Celery
Advanced knowledge of geospatial concepts and libraries, including
PostGIS and GDAL
Minimum of 2 years of experience working on geospatial problems
Self-directed with a proven track record of overcoming
challenges
Experience in forestry, ecology, or earth sciences is preferred
