As a leader in the MRO industry, we partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed.We're looking for a Credit & Collections/New Accounts Supervisor with strong leadership abilities and the energy to work with a growing company.Though we service accounts throughout North America, our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. • Provides direct supervision for the Credit/Collections and New Accounts teams, with a focus on increased productivity through continuous process improvement.
• Responsible for aligning employee efforts with department goals.
• Manages the creation and maintenance of accurate Customer Master Data for all customers.
• Trains new employees, prepares performance appraisals and keeps attendance records.
• Assists staff by providing direction and answering questions.
• Fields escalated/difficult calls from customers and sales representatives.
• Prepares and distributes weekly call list to each collector.
• Performs weekly portfolio reviews with each collector. Identifies challenging accounts and helps guide resolution.
• Facilitates staff meetings. Performs ad hoc tasks as needed.Qualifications & Requirements:
• Associate's Degree plus 7 years' experience in Credit & Collections or Customer Data.
• Experience with SAP, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
