Job Description:
At Wolverine Trading we're looking for a Trading Systems C++
Engineer to work closely with quants and traders to implement and
improve sophisticated trading strategies on our established,
high-performance infrastructure. Your focus will be on the
translation and implementation of trading ideas into an existing
system architecture and collaborating on the refinement of existing
trading strategies.What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with quants and traders to translate trading ideas
into fast, scalable, and reliable software
- Leverage and improve high-performance frameworks for risk
management, execution logic, and trade reporting
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure
strategies perform reliably in live conditions
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical
teams to align on goals and execution, with an emphasis on
effectivenessWhat We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
equivalent
- A minimum of 2+ years of professional C++ experience with a
focus on high-performance applications
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and modern C++
practices (C++17/20)
- Experience and ability in multi-threaded programming and
performance tuning
- Ability to analyze experimental results and optimize system
performance
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage
effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
