Staff AccountantWe are currently looking for a take-charge individual who is interested in joining a well-established and innovative company in a booming industry. Bathing Brands, a national leader in distributing, installing, and maintaining steam and sauna bathing environments, is currently searching for a Staff Accountant. A background in the construction industry or trades is greatly welcomed but not required.The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role on our finance team, contributing to the management of transactions, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring strict adherence to accounting principles and company policies. This position reports to the Finance Division Manager.Please note, this is an onsite position with potential for some hybrid/remote work in the future. Staff Accountant Responsibilities: Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivableRecord and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entriesProcess overseas vendor invoices, oversee expense reporting and ensure accurate coding and approvalsAssist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationConduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policiesPrepare and file monthly sales tax returnsCommunicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth operations Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years in accountingStrong knowledge of GAAP and accounting practicesHands on experience with accounting software packages or ERP financial solutionsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Proficient in Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office Teammate Benefits:When you join Bathing Brands, not only do you get to work with some great folks, but you'll enjoy comprehensive benefits too.
